The 2017 Group Aflac enrollment period begins September 15th and ends Oct. 30. The Group Aflac enrollment website, www.AFLAC.com/SDCPOA is now open and ready for anyone who wishes to sign up. All three plans (Group Accident, Critical Illness and Group Hospital) are once again available with guaranteed issue to all working employees. Aflac has been a popular benefit choice with the SDCPOA due to the great financial protection and the quick claims process. The SDCPOA Benefits team encourages all members to review these plans to see how they can help you in the unfortunate event of a critical illness or injury. A couple dollars a week can help protect you from an extreme financial burden due to one of these ill-fated events.

What is Aflac?
Aflac is supplemental insurance that provides you and your family cash in your time of need. Accidental injuries (both on and off the job), major illnesses (including cancer, heart disease, doctor visits and hospital stays due to covered sickness), and much more are all covered through the multiple plan options which are available to full SDCPOA members and Associates. All Aflac benefits are paid to you directly, regardless of how much your health insurance covers.
What do current policyholders say?
“This being my first year with Aflac, I am very pleased with the benefits and service provided. There are several plans to choose from depending on your needs. We all visit the doctor for routine exams throughout the year and being paid for it…well is just an added extra benefit. The convenience of having your claims processed within a timely manner and reimbursements deposited into your bank account within a few days is AWESOME”. — Teresa Lepe – East Mesa
Current Policyholders:
If you currently have an Aflac plan and do not wish to make any changes, you do not need to do anything during this enrollment, the plans will continue until you notify us otherwise.
If you wish to reduce, or cancel a plan, please contact Will Stover to obtain the appropriate forms.
