The guaranteed issue availability will also expire after the October 30 deadline, and future enrollments may require you to answer medical questions that can lead to your application being denied. All SDCPOA members and associate members are encouraged to visit the Aflac enrollment Web site prior to October 30 to review any recent enrollment changes or make final changes to your application. If you do not want to make any changes to your 2016 Aflac plans, you do not need to do anything. If you do want to make changes (including adding family members, cancelling your plan, etc.), please contact Will Stover before the October 30 deadline. He will be available until 5:00 p. m. on October 27.
Here’s a final reminder regarding guaranteed issue.
Guaranteed issue: The accident and hospital plans do not require you to answer any medical questions; however, they do ask, “Are you and/or your spouse currently working or able to work?” The critical illness plan has a guaranteed issue of only $20,000; however, if you elected the critical illness plan last year, you are eligible for a $10,000 upgrade (up to the $30,000 maximum) without needing to answer any of the medical questions.
What do current policyholders say?
“I am so thankful I signed up for Aflac. After the birth of my second child, it allowed me to stay home another month without any financial worry. So glad I did this! Receiving the money was quick and easy too! A quick phone call to Will, and in a short amount of time, I had the money. Super easy. Would definitely recommend to anyone!”
When can I sign up?
The Aflac group enrollment Web site will close on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. PST. Please note that the Aflac plans are a members-only benefit. All members and associate members can sign up online at Aflac.com/SDCPOA, or by contacting Will Stover directly.
How do I get more information on the rates and plan options?
